ADVERTISING SALES – Excellent growth opportunity!

Extension Media is a fast growing publishing company focused on high-tech markets. We are based in San Francisco. Our portfolio includes resource catalogs, magazines, web sites, newsletters and custom publishing.

We are seeking a talented, high energy Account Executive to join Extension Media, as an inside salesperson to expand our advertising sales effort.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include selling advertising and sponsorships in our Resource Catalogs, magazines and web sites. Sales are primarily conducted by developing and closing sales with new and current accounts through phone and e-mail contact. You will also be asked to gain familiarity with our products and track your sales efforts.

Qualifications

• Prior advertising sales experience
• Excellent verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently over the phone.
• Strong telephone skills, able to make 50 calls a day to generate sales
• Working knowledge of excel
• Ability to prepare weekly sales reports
• Experience or interest in working in a small company
• Can work independently

Experience in the electronics markets would be a significant plus.

We are looking to fill the position right away. Position is full time. Compensation package includes base salary, commission, benefits and paid vacations. Excellent growth opportunities.
